A Night of Gold… Think of charming gold-draped decor, a wave of chatter and laughter, unbeatable entertainment, and great food all in one room and the best part is that it is all for a worthy cause.
Navarra partnered up with Dementia Australia to raise funds to help battle this terrible disease which will ultimately affect 1 in 25 Australians. There are families living with Dementia and desperate for answers, families grieving a lost one, and families concerned about their genetic fate. Dementia continues to touch more lives than it ever should, and we all need to do our part to raise awareness and make a change.
The night was magical from start to end, guests were treated to champagne and canapes upon arrival, with an exclusive whisky bar in the VIP room. Dancers dressed in gold took over the dance floor as guests found their way to their table and bumped into familiar faces. The talented singer Anthony Callea then took over the room and had everyone in a dancing mood, followed by amazing guest speakers who shined a light on the impacts of Dementia, great prizes were raffled and auctioned for proceeds, and everyone enjoyed the food served and drank their night away.
A party favourite was the live Italian doughnut station with a water view backdrop where guests witnessed the chefs making the dessert. Not a detail was missed when creating this spectacular event.
This was my first time attending this annual fundraising event and I was impressed with how the evening went. This will certainly not be the last time I attend, only next time I will bring friends and family with me.
Navarra definitely hit the nail with the Night of Gold event, and if ‘wow’ was the impression they wanted to leave on all guests’ minds, then they did it right. The exceptional service offered by the staff was outstanding, and the contributions of 580 generous guests are the reason this night turned out to be such a tremendous success.
Over $250,000 was raised on the night for a cause so close to our hearts, and we could not be prouder of the result. The standard was set high, and we look forward to our next fundraising event where we will aim for even better.
