January 5th 2022. A date that we will remember for years to come. The Navarra family knows all things love and marriage and the wedding of Alexandra, the granddaughter Fillipo Navarra our company founder was nothing short of spectacular.
After a 2-year whirlwind romance, Anthony proposed after a surprise seaplane ride at Rose Bay disguised as a birthday gift. Which, of course, was followed by a big YES on Alexandra’s part. In true Navarra fashion, the couple had their pick any of their family owned and run wedding venues across Sydney and decided on Curzon Hall as the backdrop to their most perfect day. Melissa D’cruz styled both Alexandra and Anthony’s family homes for the morning which made getting ready for the best day of their lives the most aesthetic process.
Alexandra walked down the aisle at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Hunters Hill in a custom-made Steven Kahlil dress to meet her Husband to be. There wasn’t a dry eye in the congregation.
After becoming wed, the couple and their guests arrived at the breath-taking heritage castle in Marsfield where they were welcomed with the finest canapés and hors d’oeuvres ranging from caviar and oyster bars to grazing tables of antipasto alongside our amazing bar staff serving up custom cocktails and refreshments.
The reception to follow in Lady Mary’s Pavilion can only be described as a cross section of opulence and elegance. In a LUXE creation by Melissa D’cruz the ballroom was styled to floral perfection and complete with bespoke chandelier instalments and candle wear galore.
The room was filled with so much warmth and laughter, the love shared between the couple of the hour and their families was truly palpable. The most heartfelt toasts were given to the couple, sharing stories, memories and well wishes.
The day was captured by Mark Jay Photography and Splendid Videography right into the late hours of the evening as Alex and Anthony danced the night away in the castle cellars with their nearest and dearest.
