The Perfect Grand Ballroom for a Great Cause at Oatlands Estate

During the week, Team Simon filled Oatlands Estate's Georgian Grand Ballroom with entertainment, delicious cuisine, and a lively auction. In dedication to a significant cause: ensuring every child with cystic fibrosis can live a full life. One of Parramatta's largest ballrooms hosted 500 guests for a gala dinner and fundraiser.  

During the week, Team Simon filled Oatlands Estate’s Georgian Grand Ballroom with entertainment, delicious cuisine, and a lively auction. In dedication to a significant cause: ensuring every child with cystic fibrosis can live a full life. One of Parramatta’s largest ballrooms hosted 500 guests for a gala dinner and fundraiser.  

The night was a fantastic success and not a dull moment. With live music, singers, band and instrumentalists, violin and bongos. A magician and a comedian who left the guests in awe and laughter and a photobooth for everyone’s enjoyment. There was never a dull moment. The great tech and lighting added to the magic of the night. There were four large drop-down screens and projectors and AV, dimmed and blue pelmet lighting. All to a night filled with unlimited drinks, including sparkling, red and white wine and beer.  

Guests arrived roaming drinks and girls in champagne skirts. Sitting down to enjoy the love Italian families are known for bringing to food. The course started with fresh Italian burrata resting on a delectable salad and filled ravioli tossed in a Beurre Blanc. This is followed by crispy chef’s recipe calamari, slow braised lamb shoulder with San Daniele prosciutto and filled fillet of chicken with sides of farm fresh veg cooked to perfection by our talented chefs. The course finishes off with a beautiful selection of desserts, chocolate tart, caramel crème Brulé, mini cannoli and petite Italian doughnuts, all curated to tantalize the guests’ tastebuds to the extreme.  

Fundraisers like this are crucial for supporting vital causes and fostering community solidarity. They serve as a platform for raising necessary funds and increasing awareness about important issues. Such events empower communities, enabling collective action toward a shared vision.
