On Tuesday, 23rd June 2021, what everyone hoped wouldn’t happen again has come to pass, restrictions have been reintroduced and it seems as though Covid is here to stay, but what does that mean for us?
CEO of Navarra, Sal Navarra says “We all have a combined responsibility to follow these new restrictions so we can do our best to limit exposure and hopefully eradicate this virus but that doesn’t mean we have to stop doing all the things we want to do. Cafés are open and buzzing with life, restaurants are serving some of the most amazing food, birthdays are being celebrated and happy couples are still having the wedding of their dreams.”
It’s easy for everyone to look at all of the bad things but, we have to choose to look at the good and positive things. During this time, families have become closer, friendships have become stronger, imaginations have gone positively wild and we’re loving everything good coming from this.
In 2020, the hospitality industry experienced a lot of lows, so many amazing people had to reschedule their events, parties came to a literal standstill and things certainly did change. During that time, we worked with so many amazing clients to find a way to make their special day be everything they wanted it to be, and we were able to help create some of the most amazing and extravagant events we have ever seen.
It’s safe to say that creativity was and still is in the air when it came to having one of a kind events.
Now, we must stress that being positive doesn’t mean ignoring the situation, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that have and are still experiencing the negative sides of Covid, our message to everyone is to stay positive, stay safe and work to come out of this pandemic a better version of yourself than when you entered.
We’re looking forward to hosting some of the most memorable and exciting events in Sydney as we have done for over 47 years and we can’t wait to see smiling faces and happy people at our venues.
