This course is perfect for all ages between 18 – 65 and will be available at Oatlands House, with Montage coming soon. 

What you will get a chance to learn

  • Undertake and coordinate the styling and effective delivery of assigned events.
  • Effectively manage all site components of events, including production, entertainment and technical elements.
  • Ensure the creative integrity of assigned events.
  • Ensure positive representation of the Company within the industry and foster a positive culture within the Company.
  • Ensure effective communication and cooperation is achieved and maintained at all levels of the Company.
  • Creating Styling Studio quotations, ensuring that both delivery costs and GST is accounted for.
  • Creating and utilising photographic folders and/or ipads to enhance upsells to customers.
  • Utilising relevant venue packages for upsell to customers, such as indulgence bars, menu selections, ceremony theming etc.
  • Creating of invoices and ensuring that there is a thorough check off from: Contract; BEO; Invoice prior to invoices going out to customers.
  • Increase the Company’s involvement with existing customers in a profitable and responsible manner.
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service and handle customer complaints according to Company guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates, reviews and reports to the Group Manager of NV Co-ordination Department and Directors as required.
  • Keep up to date with the Company’s current packages and pricing structures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, industry bodies and relevant government agencies.
  • Ensure all contracts with suppliers are negotiated annually to achieve the best outcome for the Company and expenditure budgets.
  • Attend and participate in weekly team meeting.
  • Ensuring that the Company CRM is maintained with up to date and accurate information.
  • Arrange, coordinate and attend networking functions, events and meetings at the various venues as required.
  • Execute the appropriate strategies to ensure business targets are achieved.
  • Represent the Company at internal and external events in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) legislation.
  • Conduct thorough checking of work by others and self-checking of information and documentation.
  • Proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track and undertake assigned tasks.
  • Undertake general office duties as required.
  • Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Group Manager of NV Co-ordination Department and Directors.
  • Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.
  • Understand, implement, participate and promote Company Policies and Procedures, and WHS objectives, processes and procedures.
