The Navarra team, along with the Luxe By Navarra team and many other trusted suppliers, came together and brought this vision of Sicily to life for one fantastic evening.

This year, SICILY 2023 will be held at our exclusive waterfront venue, Montage Sydney, from the moment you enter to the moment you leave and every moment in between, you get to experience everything Navarra has to offer.

A spectacular wedding showcase and menu tasting by Navarra
It was an event to remember, On Tuesday, 21st March and Wednesday, 22nd of March, Navarra pulled all the stops and held their annual awe-inspiring showcase and menu tasting at Montage. The night was one of fun, indulgence, and inspiration that showcased all that Navarra has to offer.
The night showcased six of the Montages spaces, decked out for Proposals, engagements, Kitchen teas, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and weddings. The rooms were styled to perfection in creative and innovative ways by the Navarra staff and Luxe by Navarra.
The styling includes luxurious elements of chandeliers, the freshness of fruits and florals and the romance of candlelight. The night was in bloom with colourful flowers and fresh fruits elevated to the next level with the little details of tables, cloths, plating, seating and everything in between.
Colours haven’t just made a comeback this year, but the trend is still strong in 2023 moving into Autumn, and we’ll be sure to see more of it throughout the year. Talk to the Navarra staff about incorporating colour into your events this year.

Another special thing about Sicily is that celebrations sometimes go over a couple of days, and this magical event was no exception.
Day one was the perfect opportunity to take your time and stroll through the ever-unique Montage by Navarra. Our wonderful clients and guests had a chance to spend some one on one time with our expert event producers and coordinators while also experiencing the grandeur of the venue and all that could be accomplished when dreaming starts.

Our team are transforming the entire venue with different styles and experiences in every room to give you the full and complete experience of SICILY. From amazing colour pallets to food and drink pairings that leave you thinking for another word more appropriate than perfect, none exist, but you will no doubt try because perfect won’t do any of what you’re set to experience any form of justice.

A Night of Feasting Fit for Royalty
The night continues with a feast fit for kings and queens. The grazing table was a work of art, with a selection of fresh cheese, breads, vegetables and meats, made and sliced for you at your request. A live paella station was in full swing filed with fresh prawns. Not one but two oyster towers with lemon, and salt was popular on the night, all before the entrée.
The menu for the night included multiple brand-new dishes, that debuted and are now available in 2023. Where dreams are born
We said this was the start of dreaming, we should have been clearer, or more accurate in saying, Where dreams are born!
With so many different things on display, from food to entertaiment, to world class service at a world class venue, there was not a left to the imagination, but that’s only because imaginations had not been opened to the what is possible for special events at Navarra. This was truely the night where everyone, including our own team, got to experience an mind opening event where EVERYTHING was made possible and is now possible for our wonderful clients.

With a live band, DJ, our favourite MC’s, performers and ballet dancers, Sicily 2023 was designed to be an event to remember.
From the moment you arroived, you were entertained, from Aperole Spritz cocktails and Sparkling Cuvée being served on arrival by the amazing Navarra crew, a creative photo booth set up by Splendid, wedding dresses being showcased by Amarige Bridal, an amazing band that played all night by Evoke Entertainment, a beautiful ballet performance at the end of the night by Series of Events, and amazing photographers and videographers from Splendid Wedding Photography and End of Time Photography capturing all of the best moments of the evening.
The guests had a chance to envision their event and experience what an event is like at Navarra just as their guests will. there was even a romantic first dance and little Boggie before the night came to a close.
We would like to extend a massive shout out to all of the amazing staff from across our four venues at Navarra, to all the chef’s who created the amazing menu, to the entertainers on the night and so many more people who made Sicily 2023 come to life.
